Exceptional Victorian English lizard set in silver over 14 KT. yellow gold. 53 pave set rose cut diamonds cover the entire body as well as 2 cabochon ruby eyes.  Handmade and very refined.   The brooch is additionally useful as it can be worn as a pendant.  The hidden bail (modern)has been cleverly added to the underside of the brooch so it does not show when worn either way.  Easy and secure snap closure.   57mm wide.  Fabulous on a coat, jacket, cuff or hat.  A true conversation piece.
