Rare to find and such a sentimental piece of jewelry. Modeled after a Victorian heart padlock but hallmarked for Birmingham England in the 1960s, this 9KT engraved heart padlock opens to reveal a locket compartment and a special little skeleton key meant to open the padlock! While the key isn't necessary to open the locket, it's lovely that it still is there sitting inside. Beautifully engraved front with a simple polished gold back. I've added the custom standing bale to allow this locket to slide through a variety of widths of chains. 24mm in height by 13mm wide. 9KT Yellow Gold. Hallmarked. English in origin.
