Old stickpins with horseshoe motifs are a favorite of mine. These little works of art transform beautifully into necklaces that are as fresh today as the motifs were in the 1800s! While small in scale this horseshoe is incredibly detailed with beautiful collet set diamonds and rubies. The stones sparkle from every angle in the light. Set in silver over 14KT gold, which was customary for the period, I’ve added an 18 inch 14KT Yellow Gold chain with a ring at 16 inches for extra versatility. Not marked but tested. 10mm height by 10mm wide. Photos do not do this necklace justice, far more sparkling in person!
