This necklace is such a wonderful use of antique pieces all seamlessly put together to create an entirely new and fresh necklace. The 9KT rose gold curb link chain used on either side of the central plaque was an antique pocket watch chain. While the chain was beautiful I felt it needed something else to dazzle the center. I designed a flat canted corner plaque of the same 9 KT rose gold crafted from an antique T bar which my bench jeweler flattened and rolled to create this matte 1 inch wide by 3/4 inch high central portion. To add the dazzle I had him set .25 Cts of round diamonds in an "X" at the center. The result is a rather modern looking necklace with just enough sparkle but the look of antique English Rose Gold is unmistakable.
