A beautiful and rare souvenir of the crowning of King Edward VII in 1902. The front of the locket looks like a book with the title Heaven's Light Be Your Guide engraved and lettered in black, below a star shaped engraved setting of an antique rose cut diamond. Hinged with the reverse of the locket engraved with the monarch's initials. The interior page is engraved with the King's name and crowning date while the reverse of the page has Queen Alexandra and the date of her crowning. Inside compartments have polychrome silhouettes of both the King and the Queen. A most beautiful piece of historical jewelry in very good antique condition. Not marked but tested. 17mm height by 13mm wide.
