A perfect piece of English sporting memorabilia! This lovely medal was probably presented to a member of a soccer club as was customary back in the day. Dating back to 1922 and solidly marked with the city of origin Birmingham. This medallion has a rich relief of a soccer player and is bordered with laurel wreaths in addition to a blank cartouche at the top. I've increased the size of the original bail so that it can be worn on a wider chain. 9KT English rose and yellow gold. This medallion is far more striking in person. Photos do not do it justice. Color and brilliance of the gold is more true on the model. 1.25 inches in length by 1 inch wide. Chain may be purchased separately.
