Exceptional example of Victorian craftsmanship. This finely engraved bangle has so many elements of the period.
The centerpiece of the bangle has a marquise-shaped almandine garnet set with a pearl studded star and surrounded by white seed pearls at the border. Further detail includes applied wirework, ball detail and engraved shoulders of fleur de lys on either side of the bracelet. The bottom of the bangle is a simple matte gold. 14 KT Gold not marked but tested. Interior circumference is 6 inches. This is a small bracelet and is not suited for a medium or large wrist.
The slide closure is secure. Snug fit. Oval shape. The condition of the bracelet is impeccable. No signs of damage.
